Reasons for Show Cause Letters to News Daily
The three newspapers that have been issued show-cause letters are theSun, Sin Chew Jit Poh, and Suara Keadilan.
Home Ministry is targeting
(1) TheSun
because they were allegedly “manipulating and playing up numerous sensitive issues”, and
(2) Sin Chew Jit Poh
for “its recent reports on the racial slur controversy involving Umno division leader Ahmad Ismail”. so its shows discrimination from the UMNO lead BN goverment.
(3) Suara Keadilan
-reports on Chief Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan conditions after by-pass surgery
